We need some guidance and advice on the UX and IA of our website re-design.
We run an ecommerce store, we sell custom made products for dirtbikes. We are currently in the process of re-designing our website and want some advice on the layout and design of our website. No actual design is required, we are mainly looking for the mapping/layout/planning of our site, along with design/functionality notes if required.
We have some basic wireframes already, mainly outlining what needs to be included. These are how we wanted the site structured, but we are obviously open to suggestions on the layout and content included. We would like advice on the social/sharing aspects that should be included, along with any other functionality, rating system, etc.
The order form has not been wireframed completely, and we would like advice on the most efficient way to structure this part of our products page. This is one of the most important parts of our site to get right.
We require a person/company with specialized experience in the UX/IA area. Previous experience and examples required, preferably in the action sports industry, but any experience in the ecommerce sector will be fine.
I can PM our existing wireframes and further details if needed.
